Quilting: Moda Frolic fabric, square in a square
400 kudoz

Moda Frolic fabric, square in a square

Quilt for Meg

Quilt for Meg
different angle of Mag's quilt

Instructions

I made this quilt from a picture that I saw on the net. I used a charm pack and matching jelly roll. I left the charm pack squares as is and surrounded them with strips from the jelly roll, added a border and made a pieced border with the bits of the jelly roll that were left. I measured the bed and worked out how many squares that I needed to desired width and added the borders, hope this helps.

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

It is a square with a boarder around it with white lattice. She stated that she used charm pack squaress and jelly roll strips.

I didn't use a pattern, I made this quilt from a picture that I saw on the net. I used a charm pack and matching jelly roll. I left the charm pack squares as is and surrounded them with strips from the jelly roll, I then added 2.5" white sashing inbetween the blocks and added a 2.5" white border and made a pieced border with the remaining bits of the jelly roll with white inbetween. I measured the mattress to worked out how many squares that I needed to desired width and length and then added the borders, hope this helps. Like 3 people like this
