What was your inspiration?
I used Stefanie Japels online class. Stefanie is a great knit wear designer, teacher and friend! I really loved the look of the shawl and how it hangs and wraps around your shoulders. It is a very comfortable and versatile addition to my wardrobe! I LOVE IT!
What are you most proud of?
I am super proud of this shawl! This was only my 2nd lace knitting project ever and it took me 1 month to knit this! I followed along step by step with Stefanie's class until I finally got it all finished!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use alot of life lines! This was just my 2nd lace project so I put life lines in every 4 rows, so that when I messed up I didn't have to rip back very far! They really saved my life! In the end I knew I had a perfectly knitted shawl! It was definitely worth the extra time and effort to put in life lines and make sure I had every row 100% right!
