What was your inspiration?
My dog Ducati is a teacup chihuahua and we live in Oregon where it's just always kinda cold. He shivers a lot so I started making him sweaters, and this one was inspired by my mommy and me set of hats and wristie gloves that are in my shop because I know that there are moms out there who have not only little girls but little dogs that they like to dress up too.
What are you most proud of?
It's super soft and comfortable, plus it is more of an open weave so it will work good for spring too.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Measure the dog!!!! You don't want something too tight around the neck or tummy, and you never want something to get in the way of them doing their business so make sure you taper it at the tummy.
