What are you most proud of? Working with Minky! First time and I loved it. Basting spray is a must for working with Minky.

I love the colors!

I love this!! I can't tell by the photo...Did you add a border around the chevron design? Thanks.

No, I decided to not add a border. It looked great without one.

Also, did you still use a cotton batting?

No, the minky on its own gives the quilt a good snuggle factor. If you google quilting with minky you can see people's experiences from using batting with minky or leaving it out. I live in Arizona, so a quilt with minky and batting would've been pretty heavy/thick for a baby quilt for most of the year. So I left it out, but plenty have used it.

Thanks LeAnne! I actually ended up using batting. It turned out SUPER snuggly but very heavy. I have started on another and will leave it out this time. Thank you for sharing your quilt...it truly is beautiful!
