What materials did you use? I used a picture of brides dress and a princess costume pattern to customize and make the miniature bride dress resemble the brides dress as closely as possible.

What are you most proud of? I am extremely impressed with the pick ups being assymmetrical to match the design of the wedding dress by Maggie Sattero. I also really like the look of the appliques, this was a nice alternative to beading the dress by hand.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make sure that you have a good base pattern and a lot of pictures to use during the construction of the dress. Have a good understanding of how a wedding dress is constructed.

Just a wee bit big. What a little doll this child is!

What a beautiful little bride. My 4 year old granddaughter loves to wear her bride dress all the time. She was even a bride on Christmas morning! I would love to know how to make this one for her! May I ask for the pattern number :)

It is a modification of the McCall's Disney Princess Costume pattern 2856. I modified it to look similar to a Maggie Satero wedding dress.
