What are you most proud of? Most of the points match. I tried the mini first and the large star will be my next challenge.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Those seam allowances make all the difference. Don't use a black background with a purple marker, had to improvise and use the needle as the mark.

Nice color choice. I am planning such a quilt with these colors also. It will fit a king size bed. Have been hunting down different shades of oranges, which isn't easy to find sometimes. I think I have found enough though to make this quilt. Thanks for the tips. I am currently working on a scrappy star quilt with 9 blocks. Each block measures 32 inches. I found this one in my McCall's Quilting Magazine Jan/Feb issue. Using starch helps too...
