What was your inspiration?

This is a great warm weather project. The strips are not 'heavy' in your lap and you can connect them together on a cool day when you don't mind having something lying in your lap.

What are you most proud of?

Color scheme went well together. It was a quick project. It was the last of my "planned" Christmas gifts. I can't believe I am done with Christmas gifts in August!!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

This project is quite versatile. You can make it as wide or narrow as you want, you can make it as short or long as you want, you can change yarn colors to make it feminine or masculine, and you can experiment with different hook sizes and yarns to get just the look you want.
