What materials did you use? Holly Taylor Migration Fabric. Made entirely from cotton.

What are you most proud of? Applique is new to me . So, I guess that would be it. I traced the design on the fuse paper prior to ironing it to the fabric. Then, I cut them by hand. You will need some fine scissors.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Try to visualize the placement of the fabric colors. When I did the applique, I did them on the individual blocks as much as possible and then did the final placements at the end.

Beautiful!! I love your fabrics and the pattern, too. The way the colors blend on appliqued leaves is fantastic - so realistic. I know what you mean about points. Getting those triangles to come out perfectly is a challenge for sure, and sometimes an out and out battle!
