I modified the pattern by using 12 blocks instead of 24 blocks. I then placed sashes around each block and added an inner border and an outer border. I machine quilted it using loops, stars, and Mia's name,Difficulty:

What was your inspiration?
The anticipated birth of my step-granddaughter. Her mother loves purple and Winnie the Pooh.
What are you most proud of?
The machine quilting which included the spelling of her name.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take care to be consistent with the size of your seams. This will ensure that the blocks do not vary much in size.
