Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: This was a vanilla rum cake I created for a friend's son. Mike's tutorial was very helpful in figuring out the structure and how to make it stand upright. I found the picture of Spongebob holding a basketball on the internet and decided to use it as my template for carving and decorating the cake.

What are you most proud of? I'm proudest of the texturing of the fondant. I'm also proud of the fact that I got the basketball to stay attached!

This is amazing! How did you get the ball to stay attached?

I put a skewer through the ball and stuck it into the cake.
