Instructions
I used about 1/2 yard of fabric of each color for the main part of the bag...which I folded in half then cut....I cut about a 2 inch strip off the top of the black fabric and set aside...used black fleece as batting...now lay red fabric wrong side up, then the fleece then the black fabric repeat then place the two sides together...red side out, pin and sew...you should have about a 2 inch difference between the red and black fabrics on top...fold red down and sew..I used a zig zag stitch for that...for flap I used a square of black and made sure the red piece was bigger and did the same thing...folded the red to meet the black and sewed using zig zag....then sewed to back of bag....for strap I used the black strip I had cut off earlier and cut a red strip to match ( can sew pieces together to get a good length) sewed together inside out leaving the ends open, then using a safety pin turned it right side out and again sewed down the seams again , fold the ends over about 1/2 inch and sew to the inside of the bag on the sides about 2 inches down and your done!!
