Instructions

I love quick projects that yield a fun result. The thick and thin nature of the Manos Wool Classica yarn and the beautiful color variations make any simple project look stunning. I used these to my advantage to knit the Red Sheila pattern, using a simple feather and fan stitch pattern and large needles.

Difficulty:

Category: Knitting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Women

Style: Casual, Cute, Outdoorsy, Funky

Materials

Manos del Uruguay Wool Classica in Mermaid Colorway, US 11 Bamboo Knitting Needles

What was your inspiration?

The Manos yarn, and the easy feather and fan stitch motif.

What are you most proud of?

How quick and easy the scarf is. Semi-instant gratification knit.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just do it, and don't be afraid to ask for help. I'm always available by email.

This is great! It's something I may try for myself. I love that you used a thicker weight yarn and needles.

Yes, it's a very fun way to use the thicker weight yarn and needles. It creates an open scarf that's squishy and soft.
