What was your inspiration?
I created this cake for a little girl's 5th birthday party. The themes were mermaids and camping, and her s'mores are her favorite treat, so I tried to combine all of those things into one cake.
What are you most proud of?
The mermaids! And, making a s'mores cake (graham cracker cake, chocolate ganache and toasted marshmallow buttercream).
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun and use your imagination! Also, make sure to stabilize and support the mermaids.
