What was your inspiration?

My son went on holidays and asked to borrow my Ipad bag. I figured I wouldn't see it again so i needed to make myself a new one. I like trying new techniques when I make bags so this project was a great opportunity to put the design on something practical that I would use. I love all the "By Annie" bags as they all have a place for decorative work on them so its easy to insert something fun into them. I still have the strap to complete.... just waiting to get to town to buy the hardware.

What are you most proud of?

This was a bit of a tough project to sew as I super padded it with extremly thick "batting"... next time I have a plan that will make the sewing easier. So I guess I am most proud of my machine for "chugging through all those thicknesses. LOL

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

ENJOY!

Your project came out great. I've just finished watching the classes and I'm looking forward to trying out the pattern.

FYI... The center pannel was 5" wide so I needed to shrink the pattern to 4" wide. Just happened that when shrunk, two patterns long was almost the exact length I needed... It was meant to be...
