Still working on straps. ..Here they are, not sure I like these but the teal color is difficult to find in ready-made. Not sure the wool would work either... any suggestions?

Fantastic! I love your fabric choices. My opinion on the color of the handles - at least in these photos, it looks like they coordinate even though they don't match perfectly, so I don't mind them! Or you could make your own straps using your teal fabric?

Very cute bag! I do think the color of straps isn't right. If you can't find the right teal, then I think black would look nice.

Nancy, regarding your request for my opinion: I don't think there ever is a "right" or "wrong" way. If you are happy with a result that is the most import thing - there will always be an audience who will love something, and those who prefer something else. My suggestion to you, therefore, is if you are not happy, change the strap and keep it for another project. Personally, I think your bag is lovely.
