What was your inspiration?
My husband wanted a warm thick warmer fr his nose and ears. He already had the hat I made but his nose was still cold.
What are you most proud of?
The sides of the neck warmer with the hat create double warmth for the ears.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
This is a fairly simple project. I cast on 42 stitches using the yarn and needles I said earlier (you may need up to 5 fewer stitches if you want a medium or small size) for both the hat and neck warmer. I decreased for the hat when I liked the length. I cast off on the neck warmer when I liked the length. Then each were stitched up in the back... It took only 2 balls of yarn. You may end up using less if your hat is smaller (my husband's head is size large).
