Nice-looking socks -- the gussets look perfect! Which toe did you use?

Thank you! It's a wedge toe. I've found that my gussets are tidier on toe up socks because I don't pick up stitches like for cuff down socks.

I had the exact opposite experience with the gussets (which is why I was stuck repairing gaps at the end of the project--ugh!) Can I just ask the name of the stitch pattern that you used? I don't see it in the class materials. Is it from another sock pattern, maybe?

You must be good at picking up stitches! I used Donna's toe up recipe with Syncopation Socks by Mary Henninger. It's a free pattern on Ravelry.

Thank you -- just downloaded it! Who knows, maybe I'll get better at toe-up gussets? Some day?

Thank you! I'm so glad I have the toe-up sock class here. I use it as my basic pattern, and then use parts of other patterns. So far I've done the wedge (pointy feet) and moccasin (duck feet) toes and the gusset (high instep) and afterthought (flat feet) heels. Next year I'm going to try the short row toes and heels. And then after that, I'll start working with my cuff down class.
