What advice would you give someone starting this project? i'm new to garment sewing (this is the 3rd garment i've ever made, and the other two were very basic) and was nervous about doing something that seemed "complicated" like this. but once i read each step of the pattern and visualized the steps, i wasn't as intimidated any more. just take it slow and focus on one step at a time. i didn't think i would be able to sew a shirt, but once i read through the steps, i realized i could do each step, and if i could do each step, i could sew a shirt! sounds goofy, but sometimes a little mental prep is all you need. i did get stuck/frustrated/tired at a few points, and it's important to take a break when that happens and just remove yourself from it. don't give your projects bad juju!
