What materials did you use? I used a linen blend fabric.

What are you most proud of? That is fits my son well and he loves it and has requested more. I also added some design detail on the top of the pocket and the bottom of the sleeves. I just folded the fabric and top stitched about a 1/4 inch down to give a little detail.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Increase the seam allowances to at least 1/2 inch.

Hi, You did a great job on this shirt. I'm sure you liked working with the linen blend. I agree about the 1/4'' seam allowances, next time please increase them to 5/8'' as I suggested on the video. It will make the next shirt much easier to sew up. Thanks so much for posting your picture, and I'm glad that your son likes it! Pam

How do we increase the seam allowances?

Please take a look at the "Lay Out, Cut Out" section of the video, where I show you how to increase the seam allowances.
