Is this your project? Can you share instructions or a pattern with the Craftsy community?
Difficulty:
Category: Quilting
Type of item: Functional
For: Women
Style: Casual
Materials
A variety of cotton fabric.
What was your inspiration?
My sister. This fabric was given to her by her friends for her 60th birthday. I wanted to find a good way to display them well.
The pattern was taught in Quilting Quickly II.
What are you most proud of?
I like the overall look, but God really guided me in getting the boarder on. I had EXACTLY enough border fabric. Not another inch.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
The pattern is fun to do and doesn't take long. When ironing your star pieces open, iron the short piece to the light side of the fabric. This will allow your seams to lay down flat. This is a really good scrappy pattern and each star only takes one 2 1/2 strip. Plus the white.
