Materials

cotton blends, photo transfer paper, purchased plain twin sheet, variety of 3/4" laces, craft crochet thread to tie quilt, polyester batting

What was your inspiration?

I love the Dresden plate pattern and have admired Memory quilts for years. I come up with the idea of placing photos in center of "plate". Since, this was for my Mother-in-laws birthday(Christmas Day) I chose Christmas prints that have some of her favorite items ie. puppys, kittens, Christmas flowers, and calico prints.

What are you most proud of?

The fact that I carried out my plan and completed this in time for Christmas 2010 :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Should measure and more accurately lay out "plates"!! Have more than enough photos to choose from because not all fit the center of the plate.
