What materials did you use? Old clothes, batting, fusible fleece, quilt binding tape, back in flannel, sashings were made of shirting material, sewing supplies & tools.

What are you most proud of? How well she liked it. I made one for her and one for her Mom. They both liked them.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I also made a couple of pillows with some of the left overs. On the quilt, I had one row of "pockets" from the shirts and if they want, they can place items in them.

I've never made a quilt before. But since my Dads passing last yr I wanted to make a quilt out of his clothes like you've done here. To be honest with you I'm totally lost & confused but REALLY wanna do this for me & my brother so if you have any suggestions to help me out I would appreciate it. Thank you, You did a real GREAT job on the quilt

well- if you want to make them all the same size - you cut them out to a certain size - I apply fusible fleece to the backside of each piece - to give it stability and helps when you have to sew them together. I hope that helps
