What advice would you give someone starting this project? Take the time to base coat your canvas completely, and make it is totally dry before tracing your pattern. Follow the instructions provided in my blog post at http://lytminc.com/blog/diy-shoes-painted-wall-art/ - I even provide a free coloring page with the cheetah print and background guides!

What was your inspiration? Shoes, shoes, shoes! I created my original "Love Those Shoes!" designs several years ago as templates for painted needlepoint canvases. Since then, I've used them on note cards, calendars, pillows, wall hangings and more. I love them so much that I want everyone to have a chance to use them - so here is Meeow! - an animal print, stiletto heel mule - as DIY painted wall art.

What are you most proud of? I'm really happy to be able to show a different way to use my patterns! Accent your favorite room with stitched and/or painted versions of these fabulous shoes. Make some for all of your shoe-loving, fashionista friends, and your cost-per-use AND materials costs go down tremendously!
