What advice would you give someone starting this project? The question is: to add border(s) or not. The quilt is about 52" by 64" now. I guess I'll just have to think on it for a while.

Nice one Darns! Pleased to see that ruler get a real work out! :-)

Thank you, Pam! I'm having so much fun with the ruler - totally lost my fear of curves!

Wow Darns! When I first saw this block on the QAL I wasn't so sure I like it. But you've done a fabulous job and made me a convert! Keep curvin' it up!

Thanks, Jean! These curves are too much fun! I'm thinking I won't put a border on but use an eggplant color for the binding (and since I would have to order the binding fabric I would also use it on the back with some of the leftover prints.)

Also, Jean, did you check out the Flickr group "Medallion QAL"? All kinds of fun fabric combos - -

Thx for the QT on Flickr - - just joined the group. I like the idea of eggplant. You could use it as a resting strip and then as another border or binding? I've sure whatever you decide it will be gorgeous!!
