Share a little about the ingredients and techniques used to create this dish/item. American-Style Neapolitan Pizza Dough recipe from class. Added Italian sausage, salami, pepperoni, onion, black olives, banana peppers, Italian cheese blend, and the tomato pizza sauce from class.
What are you most proud of? That I was actually able to stretch that dough into a round pizza shape! Peter's demonstration made this very easy.....a lot easier than rolling it out with a rolling pin. And that the sauce was actually very good. Much better than canned pizza sauce!!! Yummy! My husband and I can't wait to try another one with different ingredients. :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project? Pay attention to the timing required for the dough to rest. I prepared it the night before and put it in the refrigerator. I got it out about 30 minutes before I was going to have dinner ready and then realized it was supposed to set out and rest for 90 minutes! I went ahead and let it rest that amount of time and come to room temperature. I'm glad that I did, because after reading the class remarks, it wouldn't have turned out as well if I tried to rush it.
