What advice would you give someone starting this project? I did change it up a bit by using 2 1/2 inch squares versus 2 inch squares (as instructed by the pattern). I have a box filled with 2 1/2 strips/squares scraps and wanted to use them for this quilt. I love how it turned out ... every square is a piece of fabric from other quilts.

Love this! I went to Mexico City not too long ago and I am thinking of doing a quilt of a map of the subway system there. This shows me what how beautiful my project can potentially be, if I do it even half as good as you have! I am excited after seeing this, thanks for posting such a great inspiration. :-) :-) :-)

WOW ... thank you. This is the first quilt I have posted and wasn't sure it was/is up to par with so many of the beautiful quilts on this site. I really appreciate your compliment. Thank you :)

This is terrific. Between you and Quilt Dude, I am tempted t try the London Underground. I was born in London and when there you see the Underground map on everything, but I have not seen a quilt with it. I certainly have enough scraps. Thank for the idea

I am going to London on the 28th ... I am hoping to take a ride on the London tube while I am there. :)
