May Craftsy BOM

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Women

Style: Whimsical, Funky, Mod

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

It occurred to me as I was making these that there is an awful lot of starting and stopping and I was thinking that it might take the fun out of it for a new quilter. I hope that they know that if you were making a quilt with these that you could assembly line sew and make it simpler and more pleasurable, at least in my opinion.

I love that pig! And I agree with your comment about chain stitching instead of starting and stopping.

Thank you, he's cute I think. Chain piecing saves a lot of time and lets you get a pace going.
