Instructions

The actual piecing of the hexagons takes some time, as it requires hand sewing but is worth it I think. Also, you can do the hand sewing at night while watching tv etc; that way, they'll be ready to sew on the background fabric next day.

Materials

I got a little choosy when selecting fabrics for this; the first block, with the hexagons down on one side, I used more cooler, bold prints, and for the second block, decided to use warm tones for the sun and a green print for the bottom part.
