Instructions
Follow Amy's directions. I recommend using thicker strips. I used thinner strips for the five sided log cabin and it seems kind of busy to me. You might also give a little thought to the width of the strips as you approach the corners. I think my outer strips are a little too thin for my taste in places. It may cause me some complications when I piece the blocks together in October.Category: Other

What was your inspiration?
Amy, of course. I couldn't resist making my log cabin frame wonky, too!
What are you most proud of?
I did it! I'm moving this month (and again in July/August) and I was concerned that I wouldn't get my blocks done this month, but I'm still on track!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use thicker strips and pay close attention to the width of the strips on the outer sides. When I piece my blocks together I'm afraid I'm going to eat up some of the outer strips with my seam allowance.
