May BOM 2

Wonky 5-sided Log Cabin

Wonky 5-sided Log Cabin

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Home

Style: Traditional, Classic

Materials

Bits and pieces of leftover cotton fabric - very scrappy.

What was your inspiration?

Amy's BOM course.

What are you most proud of?

I found this quite a therapeutic block to make - it's very satisfying to use up lots of those scraps you thought you'd never use.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Enjoy - you can't go wrong with this one - it requires no measuring and you just make it up as you go along.

Thank you. I tried the Dresden Plate block today, but it's a bit of a disaster that I've got to try and rescue!

Love the purples. The little fairy in the middle is great.

Thank you. The pictures make the colours look a bit bluer than they really are. The fairy was something of an afterthought when I got to the May blocks that seemed to need a picture in the middle.
