What materials did you use? Felt, Embroidery thread, Hemp fabric, Stuffing, Buttons & ribbons, etc, Acrylic paint, Imagination!

What are you most proud of? The simplicity of it, the colours, the way they can be totally customised to however you want them. I also love their painted faces, I really enjoy doing that bit :)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? When you sew the hair and hood onto the face fabric use an embroidery hoop. And when you sew the hood over the hair make sure there is a good over-lap so when you stuff the head and it stretches out a bit you don't get a gap. When pinning together before sewing make sure all your edges and decorations match where need be. Lastly, turning out your doll after stuffing NEVER gets old, every time you get to meet your new friend is a wonderful surprise! Ali x
