Materials
pretty much all recycled materials from around my home, and this super pretty matryoshka fabric bought on Etsy from HollandHouse
What was your inspiration?
What can I say ? I love matryoshkas (russian dolls), and cloth pads are a good project to use your favorite fabric for... so that having your periods also has good sides: "Woohoo, I'm going to use those super pretty pads nobody but me can see, Me Me Me for once !!"
What are you most proud of?
The fact that everybody says how my pads are prettier than all the other ones they've seen before. :-D
Oh also the fact that I've been using them for a couple years and they still look great (no stains), and are so comfortable to wear that I would NEVER go back and use disposable ones !!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't fear, my pattern includes all the tips and info you need on how to care for them to keep them unstained... and it's much easier than you think !!
