What materials did you use? Quilter's cotton for body and seams, all purpose thread and plastic buttons.

What are you most proud of? Just being able to construct a garment, it's not something I have ever done before! I've never finished off seams or worked out buttons. I am most proud of my seams...though I could have been a bit straighter in my top-stitching.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you are able, try a more fluid fabric. I've seen this project done in lighter fabrics and it really is lovely...as a matter of fact, that's what I'll be doing next time I give it a go! Thanks for reading!

Well done! I'm working on the same blouse at the moment. I'm loving the look of the tucks but hating doing them.

Thanks! Yeah, the tucks were the trickiest bit - they're not perfect on mine. I got tired of futzing with them. I pinned, then ironed, then stitched. Can't wait to see your version!!
