What was your inspiration?
I currently use an artist bag to carry my quilt mat and other things I may need when I go to quilt classes but it is a little heavy and bulky. I wanted something that was lighter and this was perfect because I can choose any fabric I love and customize it to my taste. The fabric I used for this was actually fabric I was not too crazy about so I figured "hey I'll just make a mat bag" and this was the result.
What are you most proud of?
I added a front pocket to hold smaller items such as scissors, rotary cutters, small rulers or even just my checkbook or wallet. The pattern did not have a pocket.
