What was your inspiration?
I made these for my friends 35th bday party. She is an event planner, and not only wanted to celebrate her day but also showcase her side business. Her party was a formal event. So I wanted to give something more upscale and of course take the opportunity to showcase my abilities :-)
What are you most proud of?
The masks.....this was my first time working with fondant. I think (as well as many others who were at the party) they came out INCREDIBLE!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Masks were.time consuming, so make sure you allow yourself plenty of time! My son actually drew the mask design for me, so if you can't draw but know someone who can grab that somebody for help :-)
