What materials did you use? Bought plants, bought seeds, accepted plants, traded plants, husband made cobblestone walkway...

What are you most proud of? My husband for all the hard work he has put into this for me..... I love my garden, but I love him more.....

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Be very, very patient.....I'm learning patience.....And it's worth it every time something new blooms.

The hibiscus are absolutely gorgeous! Do you do anything special to them? I live in the Missouri Ozarks. Normal winter temps are mid-teens to 40 degrees. I also have an angel trumpet that I just got. I will try your method.

We just cut the hibiscus back to just a couple inches above ground, fertilize and cover with leaves to protect against freeze. Thank you for your comments. Good luck with your plants.

Are you talking about the lorapedlum? If so, this picture was taken last spring and this is in full bloom. The pink fringe flowers slowly fade away. After blooming, we prune it back. That's pretty much it,.
