Instructions
I do have to say that the instructions in the pattern are not always clear on what you're supposed to do. This pattern is not for a beginner or for someone who needs detailed pattern instructions. Let me just say "a picture is worth a thousands words" holds true for this patternDifficulty:
Category: Knitting
Type of item: Clothing
For: Women
Style: Traditional, Classic
Materials
I Knit this cardigan using Grignasco Tweed yarn. It's a blend of wool, alpaca and viscose. I can't believe how soft it turns out after washing.
What was your inspiration?
I love knitting top down, all in one piece sweaters or cardigans and I love cables! This project fit all my requirements and it looks great.
What are you most proud of?
I started knitting this on December 20, 2012, while in bed with a flu and cold and had it off the needles and ready to block on December 28th. I don't think I've ever knit a sweater/cardigan that fast before.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
If you plan on knitting this project please take the time to read through the instructions and look at the photos. I re-started this project 3 times before I got it straight and I consider myself an experienced knitter.
