What was your inspiration?
I LOVE the African Flower pattern on Ravelry and have wanted to make something using it for a year. My granddaughter, Marissa, needed a new afghan so I decided to use this pattern for her. The layout is my own design as is the edging
What are you most proud of?
Designing the layout myself using hex graph paper.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read the directions for the African Flower carefully. Its an easy pattern but the first one can be tricky but once you get it its a piece of cake!
