I used the mariners compass paper piecing and then added a LOT of fabric around the compass to make it queen sized. If I ever think of doing one of these again, I'll pay someone to quilt it!Category: Quilting

It's all 100% cotton with a lightweight batting. I started handquilting it, but after a few months, I finished the edges on the sewing machine. I think I have a short attention span. This was for my husband who has wanted a mariners compass for years. He's a sailor and loves that pattern.
