What materials did you use? Japanese shirting from Marcy Tilton website, thread, buttons, V8876 pattern. I have included this tunic in Sew Better, Sew Faster, as I have used all of Janet's techniques, 1/4" seams (so easy no problems with curves or sleeves - no trimming!) and her topstitching tips, also burrito technique.

The fabric adds so much to the design lines of this pattern wonderful marriage. I also cut everything I can with a 1/4 inch seam allowances and serge (thanks Janet). I might try this pattern with Katherine's Butterick B5961 pant. Thanks for posting.

I love the fabric, it is such a quality fabric, and I think I'll buy some more from Marcy's site. The small allowances make a hge difference in the quality of the garment. Have fun!!

I love this. Great job. The fabric really is outstanding and is a great pairing. I too have signed up for this class but as of yet have not proceeded. After Chirstmas pehaps.
