What was your inspiration?

I am in full swing with getting christmas 2013 presents made and didn't want to forget about myself.
Laura is fab, as always.
I have a lot of fabrics i bought when i went to Kansas in november 1999 so i wanted to make something beautiful with them.

What are you most proud of?

It is my first time of working with triangles so i found the bias work a little challenging. Its also the biggest block i've ever made so i'm also very proud of that - i just need to buy a bigger cutting board and ruler so i can neatly trim those bigger blocks.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Follow every scrap of advice Laura gives you regarding the cutting of the triangles because it does make a big difference. Don't 'pull' your fabric through your machine or you will unnecessarily stretch it further.

Very pretty... and how nice to see some spring bulbs, too!
