What was your inspiration?

I was unhappy with how my block turned out b/c I measured incorrectly, so I redid it (mostly by using the same strips from the original block). I will still lose a bit of the tips, I can't seem to get that part right, but I'm much happier with it now!

Well, it really looks terrific. Marti, I wonder if you would of put you 1/4 inch mark further in, say 3/8ths or even 1/2 inch, if that would make the difference that you needed? What ever, I really like your block. :-) Thank you for sharing.
