Love the quilt, great colours! I liked making this block for BOM class.

I just love this. I'm hoping to make my 4 year old granddaughter a quilt for Christmas using this block. I'm going to use a lot of bright colors and pinks. I want to make each center a different color. I might drive myself crazier trying to do that, but worth a try.

I say go for it. Can't be that difficult if you have as many different treasures in your stash like most of us here.

I made another quilt using all 1 1/2 strips. That way I could match the end pieces to make same colored centers.

I made another quilt using all 1 1/2 in strips so I could have solid color centers.

Super nice quilt! Love the blue & green - very refreshing when we're having such a heat wave! That's one of my favorite blocks. I'm in the middle of making a scrap quilt using the Wonky Log Cabin block. Ten blocks completed, so it won't be long. I chose this block because I didn't have a foundation fabric in my scraps - nothing that big. Loving quilting!
