What was your inspiration?
I have been exploring quilting web sites as a beginner when I stumbled upon Stitchery Dickory Docks with Amy Gibson. I was excited to see that Craftsy made this available. It has been fun learning a new block each month.
What are you most proud of?
The colors that i picked out for the quilt project make me smile when I use them. They are very cheery and makes it fun to be creative with.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Lining up the lines have been my challenge. But I still will keep on trying to improved. So I think pinning may be a helpful key to lining up the projects. I really enjoyed the string block because it has the extra backing and gave it that sturdy backing. Plus it is great way to use up all those scraps of varying sizes. Or just take the Craftsy course with Amy Gibson she is really delightful in her presentations!
