March Block of the month

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 »

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Home Decor

For: Women

Style: Retro / Vintage, Funky, Mod, Classic, Holiday, Romantic, Traditional

Materials

I used a selection of off-cuts from vintage, Cath Kidston, Liberty and pre-loved pillow cases

What was your inspiration?

Block of the month is a great platform for me to have a play with different fabrics whilst learning a valuable skill in my home.

What are you most proud of?

Once i got the hang of it i can't believe how easy it is putting these together, i am hoping to make enough squares to sew a double quilt.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Watch the video a couple of times, its easy so have a go

These look great, I am doing this course and this is my favourite block!!!!! I was thinking of making more too!!! I am in the middle of a casual strip quilt in between projects and I thought I might make some of these to put in as well and mix it up a bit.
