Sewpippy -- Where are you? I've been waiting and waiting for your April hexie blocks... I hope you're off doing something fun.

Awesome! I'm taking the same Block of the Month class and so far this is my favorite block. I love black and white and am getting up now to go select some black and white prints to make yet another version of this string block! I, too, can see a quilt made from this one block.

Really nice! I can just imagine a whole quilt done out of this one block. It would look so modern and somehow classy. I'm going to keep this in mind, I may try a future project like this.

I love it!! I have all my b & w music prints fabrics already , but I can not decide the perfect pattern for this quilt. My son is a musician and I am looking for a pattern where you can see all the prints but at the same time not look very heavy.. I need help......

I am inspired by this block and the B & W fabrics. I'm currently collecting fabrics so I can make one. I'm using turquoise in place of the center black strip. It's exciting to think about the results.
