What are you most proud of? While I am attributing this project to the Free Motion Quilting a Sampler, I also was immensely grateful to Weeks Ringle and her suggestions to make a maquette to test out my quilting design. I am thrilled with what I learned from that maquette and it has made me a firm believer in testing out an idea, before proceeding with a large project. And of course, this project wouldn't exist without the 2012 Sampler class--check out my earlier projects for overall look of top.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make a maquette--See Designing Modern Quilts, taught by Weeks Ringle. She's a great instructor--although I think that can be said about many of the classes that I've worked with so far.
