What was your inspiration?
I designed this delicate lace scarf with a knitted lace pattern stitch where the silhouette of yarn over eyelets is reminiscent of maple leaves.
What are you most proud of?
The attractive textured lace border is knit at the same time as the center area of maple leaves. Thus, the knitting is done entirely from end-to-end in one piece with no picked up stitches or seams to sew.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Easy to knit on just a few stitches and enjoyable to wear in a variety of ways.
