What was your inspiration?
Making a page for our album of something we worked hard on that was manly in nature. Most pages come out girly or cute. The event was neither of thouse! It was dirty, and industrial and a little country.
What are you most proud of?
From the real wood to the aluminum to the brads, this page is very manly. This was my first page using photo slides to cut down on the photo clutter. I love the touch the brads add, and the aluminum strip was perfict! The fastener in the upper left is my favorite.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Ribbon isn't manly. If I was going to do this again I would use more strips of aluminum to hold the photo slides on. If your not good with journaling like me you can use more photos to tell your story. Make sure your layout has lines which draw the eye around the page. Decorating thouse lines with more photos can create a storyline!
