What was your inspiration?

I wanted to create a simple mini quilt top using a traditional quilt block made (mostly) from one Moda charm pack. This was my first "mini" quilt which seem to be really in for quilting right now and boy was it fun to make -- and super quick too!

What are you most proud of?

I love the colors in the line and how precise my flying geese came out using the special technique I demonstrate in my blog. Precision piecing is the best!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Take it one step at at time. I design my patterns to be easy for even a beginner to understand because...well, because I was a beginner once. I know what I want to see in a pattern and that's clear and simple instructions, lots of diagrams, and author notes if something was a little more complex to understand.

Also, I'd give someone starting this project the advice to ask questions. I've provided a lot of resources to reach out and ask questions if they are confused or need help at any point in the process. Hope you all enjoy!
